Two churches are located in the village Stoß (Štós) - a Roman-Catholic and an Evangelical one.
The Roman-Catholic church is probably the oldest building in the village. The construction begun in the second half of the 13`h century. It was originally built in Gothic style and dedicated to All Saints. In 1542, the church was renovated and the eastern nave was added to the original building. The main altar bearing a painting of St. John Nepomuk was installed in 1727. In 1749, the construction of a bell tower was completed and three bells were installed. The church was reconstructed in Baroque style in 1790. The interior was renovated in 1878. The most recent ceiling decoration was carried out in 1937 with financial help of the owner of the cutlery factory of the Wlaszlovits Company. A complete renovation and decoration of the outer fa4ade with a total replacement of the roofing took place between 1996 and 1998.

The Evangelical church was built following the issuing of the Patent of Toleration by King Joseph II The foundation stone was laid on June 24, 1786. The construction was completed and the church consecrated on September 28, 1788. In September of 1897, a new organ was installed. The dominant feature of the church is the altar with an oil painting depicting Jesus Christ in the Gethsemane garden with an angel of the Lord who appeared to him.
In 1994 a reconstruction of the roof was carried out, completely replacing the eternit roof for a copper one. At the same time, old gutters and downspouts were changed for copper ones as well.
