Ingredients:
jar of premixed poppy seed filing and jar
of nut filing
5 cups flour
1 cup butter or two stick
2 eggs
1/2 cup powder sugar
3 tsp. yeast
1/4 cup of sour cream (may need a bit more)
melted butter and a beaten egg yoke
Preparing:
Make a yeast dough -- use the recipe on the back of the yeast package. Then divide the dough into 5 balls and let them rest for a half hour or so.
Then roll each ball one at a time into flat rectangle. Brush the dough rectangle with melted butter and spread with poppyseed filing. Then roll one time around and poke the dough with a fork, then roll one time again and poke--continue until the dough is rolled like a jelly roll. When the rolling is complete, brush the top with beaten egg yoke. Repeat with other dough balls with nut filing. Let the rolls rest to rise again.
Bake at 350 degree for half hours (check as the timing may vary you want a golden roll.)
Enjoy!
